Position: Assistant Architect/ Intern.
Location: Taipei office.
ROE WU Architecture is a small, busy & fast paced firm with an international profile. Our projects vary in scale and type with a focus on residential work at large and small scales. Both partners teach as well as practice and have extensive international experience.
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic young architect with ambition, dedication and a willingness to learn. You should possess the following attributes:
• BArch or MArch degree.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator/Corel Draw, Photoshop and Microsoft Word.
•Knowledge of Rhino/3D Max/Maya, Grasshopper and/or Ecotect an advantage though training will also be given.
• Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with consultants, clients and contractors.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Very organized, able to coordinate projects and multi-task.
• Motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic English ability and a willingness to work through both English and Chinese.
• Salary is competitive and based on experience/skill level.
Your key responsibilities will include: Assisting with design development and documentation on a broad range of projects from multi-unit residential buildings to individual villas, innovative installations and competitions. Possibility to assist in studio teaching for the right applicant.
This position is ideal preparation if you plan to work or study abroad in the future.
