王俊雄:建築師與沒有名字的人

建築師！建築師！多少罪惡假汝之名，汝等還能獨善其身嗎？

我個人倒是覺得王俊雄老師著了"建築師"這三個字的象，anyway,有關王老師說"按照西方社會的習慣，是可以被稱呼為建築師"這句話我有點質疑，我個人不知道美國是否可以接受，但是在英國，根據 David Chappell & Andrew Wills所著The Architect in Practice 9th edition一書的第1.4.4 The architect 乙節，茲全段摘錄如下:"...the profession of architect is, subject to an Act of Parliament, a registered profession. For Business purpose no one can call him or herself an architect in the UK unless they are on the register maintained by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) ". Only those qualified in accordance with these regulations can be admitted to the register. However, it is only the name 'architect' that is protected; anyone can carry out the role as long as the name is not used".. 這段話的大意是"建築師"這個詞在UK是被保護的，只有經過註冊開業的建築師可以使用使用，但是只要不用建築師這個頭銜，任何人都可以從事這份工作的。所以如果台灣要比照辦理的話，要嚴格說通過建築師高考的也不能自稱自己是建築師，僅有開業的建築師可以自稱為建築師。
