跟美國的系統是有互通的; 至少九科的考試是一樣的, 題目基本上也是互通的.....下面剪貼了一些, 從這開始吧:

以下摘自 Royal Architectural Institute of Canada - http://www.raic.org/

How can I become an Architect?
http://www.raic.org/architecture_archit ... ndex_e.htm

To be a licensed Architect, you will need

* Education
* Experience, and
* a passing grade on an Examination.

Education

The vast majority of Architects complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from a university program approved by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB).

An alternative way to become an Architect is through the “apprenticeship” offered through the RAIC Syllabus Program.

Experience

To get experience, you must complete the Internship in Architecture Program. This program is offered through the associations of architects in each province. If you are accepted into the program, you will require a “Mentor” (a licensed Architect) who will guide your work over a period of time, according to the rules of the Internship in Architecture Program. Usually, interns or intern architects complete the program in about 3 years.

Examination

In all provinces, passing a computerized exam is one of the final steps in becoming a licensed Architect. Architects in Canada are licensed at the provincial or territorial level.

Some provincial or territorial associations may have additional requirements before licensing or registration.

ALSO from

Canadian Architectural Certification Board

http://cacb.ca/

Under the Canadian constitution, education and licensing for professional practice fall within the jurisdiction of each of the ten provinces and three territories. However, the desire for reciprocity has necessitated that mechanisms be developed to ensure comparable levels of education across the country.

The Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) was established in 1976 by agreement of the Registration Authorities and Councils of nine provincial institutes/associations to assess and certify the academic qualifications of individuals holding a professional degree/diploma in architecture who intended to apply for registration. The Order of Architects of Quebec joined the CACB in 1991. CACB's mandate was revised in 1991 to include the responsibility for accrediting professional degree programs in Canadian university schools of architecture.

然後勒, 美國那邊提到關於執照互認的聯結, 請參照NCARB

http://www.ncarb.org/reciprocity/interrecognition.html

"NCARB and the Committee of Canadian Architectural Councils (CCAC) have signed an agreement that provides for the reciprocal registration of architects who are practicing in a jurisdiction that has signed a Letter of Undertaking. This Letter of Undertaking provides for the acceptance of the conditions of the NCARB/CCAC Agreement and also permits the jurisdiction/province to stipulate any special requirements, such as demonstration of knowledge of local laws, seismic forces, personal interview, or other unique requirements that all applicants for registration must meet.

Architects holding NCARB certification who are registered in and have their principal place of practice in a jurisdiction that has signed the Letter of Undertaking may transmit their NCARB Certificate Record to a jurisdiction/province provided that that jurisdiction has also signed the Letter of Undertaking."
